Agnes, eigentlich Agnes Carlsson veröffentlichte in Schweden Ende letzten Jahres ihr 3. Album. Der knackige Song Release Me, zeigt, dass Agnes über ein erhebliches Potential verfügt. Der schwedische Markt ist jedoch knüppelhart. Da kann man ihr nur wünschen, dass sie international punkten kann. Agnes wird jedenfalls beim schwedischen Ultra-Mega-Event Melodiefestivalen mit von der Partie sein. Update: Agnes erreicht beim Melodiefestivalen Platz 2! Agnes goes international: Im April 2009 schafft Relase Me Einstiege in die nationalen Charts von Russland, Polen, Litauen, Estland, Frankreich, Belgien, Rumänien, Ukraine und Bulgarien, ausserdem: stark steigende Videoviews in England.
Schwedischer Dance-Pop mit Strings, der gerne in heimische Charts rüberschwabben würde – hoffentlich bald – dann wird auch ihr heißgelaufender Körper erlöst …
